Aperol (1)

Campari Group has unveiled a refreshed bottle design for Aperol, designed to ‘elevate’ the brand’s presence in bars, terraces, and retail shelves and celebrate its story, originating from a local Italian aperitivo created in 1919.

The new bottle features rippled glass around the bottle’s shoulder and a ‘more refined’ silhouette. The front of the bottle has a smaller label and the back has a transparent label with guides for serving Aperol Spritz.

The embossed monogram of the Barbieri brothers, who first crafted Aperol in 1919, features on each bottle. The new design will roll out across the company’s full portfolio including Campari, Courvoisier, Wild Turkey and Espolon and across both on-trade and off-trade consumer touchpoints, starting this month.

In similar news, Absolut Vodka and Tabasco revealed a new bottle to coincide with the launch of a new spicy vodka, Absolut Tabasco, introduced from February onwards across over 50+ markets, including the US and the UK. The design blends the green and white colours and diamond-shaped label of Tabasco sauce with Absolut’s ‘apothecary-inspired’ shape.
