The nomination period for Packaging Europe’s 2026 Readers’ Award has ended, the finalists have been selected, and now it’s your chance to choose the innovation that will be crowned as the winner.
To cast your vote, simply look at the information below on all of the finalists, then vote for your favourite on the form at the bottom of this page. The voting period closes on Monday 14th September.
After all the votes have been counted up, the winner of the 2026 Readers’ award will be announced live at the 2026 Sustainability Awards ceremony on the 11th of November in Utrecht. Click here to learn more about attending.

Lightweight, ergonomic heavy-duty Ariel bottle by Procter & Gamble: P&G says that its Ariel lightweighted bottle saves 400 tonnes of HDPE annually, while improving handling with an ergonomic form and tactile features.
Tuna in a Tetra Recart carton by Tetra Pak and Jealsa: The “world’s first” paper-based tuna carton, with 85% lower CO2 footprint than steel cans.
Vela transparent paper garment bags by Seaman Paper: This peel-and-seal paper bag aims to act as an alternative to single-use poly bags for garments. It is transparent enough for product visibility and manual barcode scanning.
