As a regular participant at this event, Telsonic UK will once again showcase the latest in ultrasonic modules and systems, targeted at food cutting and packaging applications, from their comprehensive range.
The precise control of the ultrasonic process, together with the reliable and durable seal produced when using ultrasonics, makes the technology an attractive proposition for a wide range of packaging applications, including the welding and sealing of rigid and flexible packaging products.
Food cutting using ultrasonic technology remains a steady growth area for Telsonic, especially in applications where the technology is used in conjunction with robots. This increase in the number of systems being integrated to robots can in part be attributed to Telsonic’s development of special 500mm wide cutting sonotrodes with IP rated booster-less systems and special double length and lightweight “T “ sonotrodes for deeper products, all driven by Telsonic’s flexible compact 20kHz and 35kHz MAG - S type generators.
These robot-friendly modules are being used by a number of food industry system integrators to produce highly flexible cutting and portioning systems for applications on tray baked products, round cakes, gateaux’s and products presented on conveyor systems.
Visitors to Telsonic’s stand will be able to see a selection of hardware including the MAG range of generators, examples from the AC actuator series and a Handystar hand-held ultrasonic system to demonstrate the process. Also on show will be examples of where the technology has been successfully applied.
Telsonic can be located on Stand number H80 at the NEC, Birmingham between the 26th and 28th September where company representatives will be on hand to offer advice and discuss specific applications.
