Klöckner Pentaplast (kp) has unveiled kp Infinity Tavola, a recyclable packaging solution that keeps pizzas warm in delivery applications while also serving as an attractive dine-in format.
Each box comprises two identical, interlocking components that combine to create a secure, lidded box for takeaway and delivery. It can also be opened for dine-in service and presentation.
This is set to unlock flexibility for quick-service restaurants, pizzerias, and delivery-led brands across multiple foodservice models.
Reportedly, comparative testing has revealed that kp Infinity Tavola keeps pizzas up to 7.3°C hotter after five minutes than conventional alternatives – and remains hotter after one hour.
The lightweight boxes are made from expanded polypropylene (EPP) and designed to be fully recyclable within appropriate polypropylene collection and recycling streams.
While oil and cheese can impact the recyclability of traditional cardboard boxes, kp Infinity Tavola is not absorbent and avoids food contamination. This is hoped to help foodservice operators comply with sustainability and recycling requirements.
As well as keeping pizzas hot and fresh during deliveries, the EPP structure is expected to prevent oil, grease and food residue from leaking through the pack and making mess. It is also anticipated to increase robustness and product protection.

kp Infinity Tavola is launching in the UK and selected European markets from September 2026.
In other foodservice news, Anchor Packaging has worked alongside Pizza Hut to develop a post-consumer recycled polypropylene bowl for chicken wings – designed to keep the food fresh in transit while ensuring recyclability at end-of-life.
A recent edition of the Brief also delved into food packaging that serves multiple purposes, including Pizza Hut’s Moving Box Table – a specialty pizza box that doubles as a miniature table for consumers ordering a takeaway after moving house.
