At interpack 2026Constantia Flexibles will showcase its packaging materials – from mono-material polymers to aluminium die-cut lids – on equipment from thirty machine suppliers.

It will upfront its Ecolutions portfolio of mono-polyethylene, mono-polypropylene, aluminium-based, and paper-based packaging, each designed for recycling. These materials will account for multiple packaging applications, including dairy, milk powder, confectionery, savoury snacks, fruit purées, nuts and seeds, dry goods, pet food, and cosmetic and pharmaceutical products.

A selection of mono-polyethylene materials from the EcoLam family will be displayed in various pouch formats, such as inverted pouches, stabile bags, and stand-up pouches. Many of the pouches feature zipper reclosure systems.

Constantia’s mono-polypropylene EcoVer portfolio will be demonstrated live on equipment producing side-gusset bags, pillow packs, flow wraps, and stand-up pouches with spouts. This is intended to present their performance in standard industrial processing environments.

Various aluminium die-cut lids and polypropylene-based lids will be presented. Commonly used in sensitive product categories like dairy, the lids will be processed on high-speed machinery at multiple exhibitor booths.

Multiple wrapper and flow-pack lines will offer live demonstrations of Constantia’s EcoPaper materials. Available in various barrier grades, these materials are designed for strong printing performance and reliable machinability.

The company will exhibit its EcoPaper solutions in fold-wrap applications and chocolate bar flow-packs, with Constantia Flexibles aiming to underline their versatility in live production.

Visitors will also be able to view specialized pharmaceutical materials, including its polypropylene-based PERPETUA solution. As a recipient of RecyClass Technology Approval, and recognized by cyclos-HTP for compatibility with the polypropylene recycling stream, the solution will run on partner machinery. Various printed blister materials and a mono-PET film for blister lidding will also be shown.

Altogether, this on-machine visibility is intended to emphasise the company’s long-standing partnerships and to demonstrate how its solutions perform in real production environments.

Constantia Flexibles also highlights its plans to remove packaging containing PFAS from its portfolio, with customers already able to request PFAS-free designs. Multiple of the company’s plants are reportedly on their way to eliminating PFAS, with the remaining locations on schedule to achieve the goal ahead of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation’s deadline in August 2026.

“Determining the right material for each product is something we assess together with our customers, on a case-by-case basis,” said Marc Rademacher, EVP Consumer Commercial, Group R&D, and Group Sustainability at Constantia Flexibles. “Seeing a broad range of our materials running on equipment across the trade show provides valuable orientation. We are proud to showcase the performance of our products, and particularly our designed for recycling Ecolutions range, in real production environments.”

Also at interpack 2026, Fortress Technology will highlight its latest touchscreen solution, designed to improve food safety and ‘significantly reduce’ human error in fast-paced manufacturing facilities.

In another development, Constantia Flexibles’ patented lid concept, ComforLid, is designed to replace snap-on plastic lids and straws with a dual-layered, separable film and achieve a 43% reduction in CO2 impact.
