The Edelmann Group, a leading global manufacturer of paper and board packaging solutions for the beauty care, health care and consumer brands markets, has announced the completion of the acquisition of100% of the shares in Elanders Beijing Printing Co., Ltd, an entity formerly owned by Elanders AB (publ). The new site, which is part of the global Edelmann network of 21 sites, now operates as Edelmann (Beijing) Co., Ltd. The new entity establishes a strong foothold into the production of packaging solutions, primarily folding cartons and rigid boxes, for the beauty care and consumer brands markets in China, thereby enhancing the existing production site in Beijing, Edelmann (Beijing) Pharmaceutical Packaging& Printing, Ltd., which currently serves the health care market.

The second site in China is located in close proximity to the current facility and will increase the overall Edelmann Group network to 21 sites with more than 3,000 employees worldwide.
