In partnership with L’Oréal’s Elvive brand, Arcade Beauty has developed a new mono-material refill pack.
Elvive Color Vive Protective shampoo protects coloured hair and Dream Length shampoo cares for damaged long hair. For its development, the brand wanted what it described as an “eco-refill with low environmental impact.”
Arcade Beauty has thus developed a 3D Pouch in 100% PE for which the brand can claim a material saving of 75% compared to two 250mL shampoo bottles. According to the company, this pack can be recycled in the soft PE recycling channels when the collection, sorting and recycling infrastructures exist locally.
Produced at one of the group's European sites, this leak-proof pack can either be fitted with a screw cap or a flip-top cap. Depending on its size (from 30 ml to 1 litre), it is fitted with a gusset to enable it to stand upright.
Now available in PP or PE mono-material (including the closure system), the 3D Pouch is part of Arcade's global CSR approach, whose objective is to make 100% of its products ready for recycling by 2025.
