Anritsu Infivis Ltd’s is making significant investment in new infrastructure and staff in the UK to meet the growing demand for its range of cutting-edge X-ray, metal detection and checkweigher systems for the food and pharmaceutical sectors.
The company, in Capability Green, Luton, is opening a new fully bespoke unit in the town’s Scott Road area, that will become operational from May 2017, providing customers with a range of benefits including access to service, sales and spare parts from just one location.
Housing offices, a meeting room and demonstration facility, the new centralised spares resource for the UK and parts of Europe will also give Anritsu the capability to test and develop the new systems that the company has in the pipeline this year, as well as showcase its entire range of food safety technology to potential and existing customers.
Anritsu’s UK Sales Manager, Eddie Daniels, says that due to steady growth the company had outgrown its Capability Green base, so the move is part of an overall business development plan designed to manage that growth, which will also involve recruiting an additional customer support technician at the new facility.
He commented: “We are planning for the future, both short term and long term – we have new models coming on stream in 2017 – to remain at the forefront of market development. The signs are that demand for Anritsu’s products is going to take off so this move to a custom-built facility also enables us to support distributors and partners within the EMEA as well.”
Designed to help safeguard the integrity of food and pharmaceutical products from contaminants, Anritsu’s world-renowned XR-75 Series of X-ray Inspection Systems, Metal Detectors and SSV Checkweighers are exceptionally versatile and robust, food safety technology that offers the highest quality and performance.
