Seufert will display an unprinted, transparent, recycled A-PET folding box – designed with integrated perforations for easy seam separation and streamlined recycling – at Fachpack 2025.

Reportedly, Seufert’s ECO-R-PET material consists of up to 100% post-consumer recycled A-PET – intended to align with both sustainability legislation and quality standards.

This plastic has been used to construct an unprinted, unrefined, and transparent variant of its Klarfaltbox, designed to display the product through the packaging itself.

After purchase at the point of sale, or else after its use, the box’s glued seam area can be separated via the integrated perforations. The remaining material is said to be free of additional components and therefore easy to recycle.

“With this innovation, we demonstrate once again that we are ready for the circular economy,” says managing director Thomas Pfaff. “Our Klarfaltbox combines functionality, design, and sustainability – thus contributing to conserving resources and making the packaging market in this sector future-proof.”

This time last year, Delfort and Camm Solutions released their own transparent paper bags and air pillows made from recycled paper. Produced using the ‘microplastic-free’ CAMM coating material, the packs aim to offer full visibility of the products inside the pack, including clothing, toys, and screws.

Similarly, SiOPack claims to have developed a fully recyclable, food-safe, and plastic-free packaging window made from paper – a move hoped to reduce plastic waste without compromising on product visibility.
