Fa Mystic Passionflower

Henkel brand Fa has relaunched its portfolio featuring shower gels with 100% recycled plastic, designed for recycling, and deodorants with 50% aluminium content.

Fa’s 250ml and 400ml shower gels have been converted to transparent bottles made from 100% recycled plastic and selected variants of its deodorants have been made with 50% recycled aluminium, said to reduce its carbon footprint.

The body care brand says that all shower formulas contain over 93% naturally derived ingredients and offer long-lasting freshness. Fa adds that the new design highlights its signature water wave element to emphasize refreshment.

In similar news, Evolve Organic Beauty has launched two refills of its shower products in Pulpex’s fibre-based bottles, seeking to reduce packaging waste and apparently marking the bottles’ first-ever commercial use in personal care. The new bottles for the African Orange Aromatic Hand & Body Wash and Superfood Shine Shampoo products allow customers to refill at home, with the bottles able to be recycled alongside paper and cardboard.

Personal care brand Wild recently revealed its refillable roll-on deodorant designed by Morrama, featuring plastic-free refills and aiming to bring circularity and convenience to the UK deodorant market. Developed in partnership with Shellworks, the 50ml refill is made from Vivomer - a compostable material already used in Wild’s shower gel range and said to break down completely in soil within a year.
