Amcor Mocha

Amcor has launched a new shaped standard bottle for the beauty and personal care sector, available with a low minimum order quantity (MOQ) and a range of customizable options.

Amcor says the new Mocha bottle features a rounded base and curved top to create a strong on-shelf impression. It can be customized with a variety of colours and finishes and has a large decoration area for individualized branding.

Suited for products such as hair care, bath and shower and skincare, the bottle is available in 100 ml, 250 ml and 500 ml sizes and can be paired with a variety of flip top closures and pumps, designed to allow companies to source a ‘one-stop solution’ tailored to the precise needs of their products.

According to the company, the MOQ for the Mocha bottle is 10,000 pieces with delivery in eight weeks. Amcor’s Wave 2cc pump dispenser can be specified for the 250 ml and 500 ml sizes of the new bottle, said to have a ‘sleek design pump actuator’ and ‘effortless’ dispensing control.

Amcor recently teamed up with Spadel on a tethered cap for the premium water brand Wattwiller, designed to be recyclable and accessible to all consumers. Made of HDPE, it is also said to be lighter than the previous design, with its 26mm thought to reduce its weight.

In other beauty and personal care news, Dove unveiled a new collection of refillable deodorants, consisting of three starter kits containing a case and fragranced 35ml refillable anti-perspirant block. Available in Original, Violet & Tonka Bean, and Peony & Pineapple scents, six different standalone refill scents can also be purchased.
