Domino has announced plans to launch its N410 digital LED inkjet label press at Labelexpo Europe, held in Barcelona, Spain, from 16th-19th September 2025, said to be cost-effective and deliver ‘outstanding’ value for digital market label producers.
The N410 aims to offer converters fast access to the flexibility and efficiency of digital printing. Domino says the press can be up and running within days, able to produce labels at print speeds of up to 50 metres per minute.
The company states that the new press has consistent 5-colour, CMYK+W print enabling production of high-quality labels with 600dpi resolution for a wide range of applications, and energy-efficient UV LED curing technology that ensures low power consumption.
Powered by the latest version of Domino’s AI-enabled Sunrise Digital Front End (DFE) workflow, the press includes Sunrise’s core modules, with features such as fast ripping, maximising uptime and accurate print cost estimates using the Job Cost Calculator. Sunrise also features centralised control of the print settings for different substrates via Domino Media Manager.
In related news, X-Rite has collaborated with Esko to include its eXact 2 handheld spectrophotometer in Esko’s Print Clone software, an AI-powered solution seeking to simplify and accelerate colour matching in digital production environments. Digital press operators can upload PDFs into Print Clone and measure physical print samples using the eXact 2 for real-time print and press profiling.
Last month Toyo Ink Europe revealed its Steraflex GIO flexographic printing ink, said to offer ‘superb’ print and press performance on most label substrates, sleeves and other applications where migration is a key priority. Formulated with a binder system, the new ink is designed to deliver enhanced adhesion across a range of substrates, from standard films to demanding label materials.
