Aptar Beauty has introduced new dispensing solutions for the personal care market, aiming to make it easier for brands to deliver personalized packaging that stands out on shelf.
The company says that the ‘premiumization’ trend has emerged in the personal care market due to the rise of ‘self-care culture’ in consumer habits, with customers more willing to invest in high-quality, personalized products that support their physical and mental wellbeing. With this in mind, Aptar Beauty states that its decorative capabilities are available for all personal care dispensing technologies, from aerosols and spray pumps to dispensing and cosmetic pumps.
A range of decoration and finishing treatments are available in-house for plastic and metal surfaces, with techniques said to be compatible with sustainable materials. The company offers a variety of colours achieved with in-mould colouring with matte and shiny finishes, as well as painting, lacquering, water transfer and brushed effect for metal components.
It also delivers ‘metal-like’ masterbatch, hot-stamping, metallization and metal shrouds, and silk-screening, printing, laser engraving, embossing and debossing of logos, brand names or monograms for branding.
Aptar Beauty adds that its ‘local for local’ manufacturing approach enables brands to benefit from a simplified supply chain - a single point of contact with the ‘one-roof’ model – designed to streamline the manufacturing process to ensure consistency, quality control and improve customer experience.
The company recently Aptar Beauty unveiled a new dropper packaging solution for skincare and dermocosmetic products, featuring an automatic filling system and a short applicator for simple and hygienic dosage. The soft actuation and ‘high precision’ pipette are said to facilitate ‘clean’ and ‘controlled’ product application.
In other skincare news, Simple announced a global brand refresh for its Active Skin Barrier range, created in collaboration with branding consultancy Lonsdale and aiming to provide a clearer distinction from its core range. The range is currently rolling out in the UK, with a global rollout due to follow.
