The leading global event for the label and package printing industry, is set to make history with its 2025 edition. Labelexpo Europe 2025 will be the biggest show to date, encompassing the full range of package printing and converting technology for labels, flexible packaging and folding cartons.
With a Festival of Innovation theme, the show will take place at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona from 16 - 19 September, marking a significant evolution in the event’s 45-year journey. The move to Barcelona represents more than just a change of location: it signals the show’s expansion and adjustment to the evolving needs of the label and package printing industry. The new venue offers enhanced space and facilities to accommodate the growing exhibition, which has already expanded 15% compared to the 2023 edition with more than 650 industry suppliers expected on the show floor.
The 2025 edition marks a significant evolution by adding folding cartons alongside labels and flexible packaging, an expansion reflecting the convergence of inline and digital technologies across these industry sectors. One fifth of show exhibitors already supply a wide range of products to the folding carton industry. Edale, for example, has confirmed it will bring its CartonLine flexo press with inline flatbed diecutting to the show. Actega will demonstrate its barrier coating technology, Tech-ni-Fold launches an inline creasing module and Rotatek shows a print station from its Universal 850 rotary offset press specified for folding cartons. Organizers anticipate folding cartons to be fully integrated into the show by 2027.
Labelexpo Europe 2025 brings educational and networking opportunities to the show. The Pulse Arena on the show floor shines a spotlight on the PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) and its implications, opportunities in flexible packaging and folding cartons, AI and automation with keynote speakers and daily presentations at Hall 7 – Stand 7B27. This area is designed as a spacious hub to learn, educate and connect. Education remains a cornerstone at Labelexpo Europe 2025 with the Label Academy featuring master classes on Folding Cartons for Label Converters, RFID Technology and Automation in Label Production.
Organizers promise to extend the festival atmosphere beyond the exhibition halls with Festa Barcelona on the opening day when Time Out Market Barcelona will be transformed into the industry’s ultimate networking and celebration space.
Registration for Labelexpo Europe 2025 is now open. An expo pass costs €95, with an early bird discount reduction to €75.
