During the Labelexpo Europe located in Brussels, EyeC will present its fastest print inspection systems for labels and flexible packaging — from September 25 to 28, 2017. EyeC’s newest inspection systems support the most modern processes and ensure the print quality throughout the entire production process.
In Hall 4 at Stand C61, the experts in print inspection will demonstrate the EyeC ProofRunner Label in action. The EyeC Proofrunner Label delivers 100% print inspection, even on the fastest presses or rewinders on the market, running at speeds more than 600 meters per minute (2000 fpm) without sacrificing resolution.
The EyeC Quality Link enables the inspection results from the press to be evaluated at a separate station and used later on the rewinder to remove all defective labels. The benefits are clear: The press operator can react more quickly to avoid expensive material waste, while rewinders can run more efficiently by avoiding unnecessary stops.
The new EyeC Workflow Integration automates PDF proofing in the pre-press stages process by incorporating EyeC’s pre-press inspection software, the EyeC Proofiler Graphic, into workflow systems, such as Esko‘s Automation Engine. The workflow system triggers inspection procedures automatically; the EyeC Proofiler Graphic retrieves job data, files, and inspection parameters from the workflow system, and reports inspection results back to the workflow system.
Furthermore, EyeC will present its off-line and artwork inspection systems. In 30 seconds, the EyeC Proofiler 400 DT performs a comprehensive sample test of a combo job in DIN A3 format against several signed-off PDF files. The EyeC Proofiler Content facilitates easy and secure artwork revision control.
“We have been providing inspection systems for the label industry for 15 years now. Today, we are the only supplier on the market to ensure the product quality throughout the entire production process. At this year’s Labelexpo Europe, we can present even faster inspection systems that support the most modern, integrated production processes to our customers,” says Dr. Ansgar Kaupp, CEO of EyeC GmbH.
