Changsu Spotlight Header FINAL

Changsu is due to present its range of BOPA films at interpack 2026, suitable for applications such as fresh foods, sauces, pet foods and wraps for flowers. The company outlines the details of its films in this Spotlight.

At Interpack 2026, if you’re not looking for the raw materials in your packaging, then you’re looking for profit margins. Here’s how Changsu transforms the ‘buzz’ around sustainability into an advanced performance-based business strategy.

How do our BOPA films help you address “the hidden” costs of using conventional packaging?

Changsu BOPA Film

From “Easy Tear” to “Waste Reduction/Brand Loyalty”: the TSA BOPA film

For most food manufacturers, when they hear “easy tear,” their first reaction will be related to convenience. However, for our convenience foods client, easy tear was being used as a way to reduce waste and increase customer loyalty.

Reduced splashing: traditional packaging may cause irregular tearing, allowing for the sauce to spray. TSA produces a clean, straight tear, reduces waste, and improves user experience.

Fill volume savings: non-uniform openings, or those difficult to tear through completely, can cause product spillage and residual waste. The TSA technology allows near-zero spillage and near-complete evacuation of all products, enabling you to reduce fill volumes and deliver significant cost savings on every million packages shipped.

Applications: cooking oils, sauces, snack items, pet food, and ready meals.

The Economics of “Clean Label” Freshness: EHA Ultra-High Barrier

Where there is a “clean label” consumers want less preservatives and more freshness. This means packaging has to perform better to provide protection without obscuring the product.

Premium fresh pet foods contain fresh meat, fruit, and/or vegetables. These types of pet foods need an extremely high O2 barrier. Yet, these same consumers expect to see the freshness of the contents within the bag.

EHA film offers the highest level of protection against O2 offered by aluminium foil, combined with the high clarity of standard film. With EHA film, you can extend the shelf-life of your products while providing clear visibility - even with highly susceptible-to-oxidation meats and vegetables.

Financial benefit: reduced spoilage and extended shelf-life. Increased distribution channels. Fewer returns. Builds customer confidence in clean-label products.

Applications: meats, nuts, bakery products, cheese products, sauces, pet food, rice, sausages.
