At interpack 2026, Syntegon will present the next evolution of its proven SVX platform: a new corner seal capability that expands the range of bag styles on a single vertical form, fill and seal (VFFS) machine. By adding corner sealed block-bottom, Full Corner and Doypack formats, Syntegon continues to increase flexibility within the SVX family.
The new configuration responds directly to growing market demand. Corner seal bags are widely used in confectionery, snacks and bakery applications, especially for premium products where shelf appearance and stability are key.
At the same time, these formats place high demands on machine performance and operator handling. Syntegon therefore focused on consistency, reproducibility and ease of use.
SVX is engineered to reach up to 120 bags per minute in corner seal applications – a strong performance level in this demanding segment. To achieve this, Syntegon eliminated typical speed limitations.
A newly integrated automatic axial adjustment adds an extra control loop for the film reel position, enabling the machine to compensate for minor deviations and maintain precise corner seal positioning. Advanced web tracking ensures stable processes even after reel changes, reducing the need for operator intervention and improving uptime and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
