Southgate has acquired packaging equipment business Packaging Aids Limited aka Packer, in an undisclosed deal.
Packer based in Basildon, Essex, has been supplying quality packaging equipment for more than 50 years.An extensive programme provides everything you need for the packing room ranging from adhesive tape dispensers and heat sealing equipment to strapping tools, with plenty in between.

Packer machines provides void fill systems, including cardboard shredding machines which provide cost effective methods for protecting products in transit and automatic strapping machines and stretch wrapping machines to boost productivity and maximise protection.
Southgate continue to report confident and sustained growth with a current network of over 650 distributors spread geographically across the UK and 67 in the EU region, and counting.
