About the webinar
The majority of the blister pack solutions for oral solid doses are not considered as recyclable and sustainable. The general interest of the pharma is to reduce their emissions, the upcoming plastic packaging waste regulation and changes in the extended producer responsablilities are just some drivers for the current change.
The webinar should provide insights on this change towards sustainable alternatives and the value of collaboration between the different value chain partners (e.g. resin supplier, machine builder, plastic film manufacturer, printer, pharmaceutical company etc.)
Learning Objectives
- Why do pharmaceutical and nutritional supplements companies search for sustainable alternatives to the current blister packaging materials?
- Why should value chain partners cooperate for a change of packaging materials?
- Why is Polypropylene an interesting alternative?
- How can the sustainability performance further be improved?
