The European Flexographic Industry Association (EFIA) is pledging its commitment to providing training and education to further improve the quality of the print and packaging workforce.

EFIA is holding its latest flexo training and education insights day for HR representatives and those responsible for implementing learning and development on December 4, 2017. Association representatives will outline the newly launched flexo e-learning Academy, ILM management courses, professional development and apprenticeship opportunities, as well as hands-on training provision and continuous professional development paths.

Debbie Waldron Hoines said: “The EFIA pledge to training and education is a true reflection of the commitment to our industry to invest in the skills of our current and future employees. It is important we recognise that more needs to be done to improve the capability of individuals working within the print and packaging sector.”Taking place at Cloth Hall Court, Leeds, the event will showcase how current and potential employees can utilise the state of the art e-learning platform and other learning methods to improve their qualifications and skills. There are also courses available for those at management level who would like to increase their knowledge and ability.The training and education insights day will take place at Cloth Hall Court, Leeds on Monday, December 4 from 10:00 to 14:00.
