As of 11 July 2017, Atlantic C has acquired the entire technical and technological documentation on filling technology of ICS d.o.o., Ljutomer, Slovenia. Thus, along with the Arcor stretch blow moulding machines acquired last year, Atlantic C now has the complete basis for constructing its own filling systems.

Over the past decade, Arcor's international distribution already put ICS filling machines in a very successful position in the market – especially among private breweries in the German-speaking region. Filling systems will now be manufactured at our own production site in Laufeld, Germany, where the stretch blow moulding machines are already being constructed.

The portfolio of ICS filling machines includes a glass bottle filler with a capacity of up to 4,000 bottles per hour and a variably retoolable filler for PET and glass bottles with a capacity of up to 20,000 bottles per hour. With a short-tube level filler, a volumetric filler with flow meter technology and a level filler with electronic sensor technology, the portfolio serves a very wide range of carbonated and non-carbonated products. The range of fillers is aimed at micro breweries, soft drink producers and spirits producers. With its own filling technology, Atlantic C has now positioned itself as a full-line supplier covering the entire production process in the drinks industry, from stretch blow moulding machines to filling technology, and from packaging and palletising solutions to logistics concepts.

Managing director Rolf Gänz explains: "we are experienced in filling technology, leveraging our expertise acquired as a general representative of an Italian filling technology manufacturer with our own service department. So, we provide our customers with the full extent of the requisite knowhow. Customers gain compact, high performance filling technology in the capacity segment of up to 20,000 bottles per hour." The Craft Brewer segment especially will benefit from Atlantic C filling systems, as an attractive, tried-and-tested range of filling technology. Fillers will now be listed in the company's portfolio under AC Fill.
