SOMIC showcased a comprehensive portfolio of shelf‑ready carton packaging solutions at interpack 2026 in Düsseldorf, addressing needs from entry-level automation to high-performance operations. The company emphasized matching machine selection to format variety, required performance, and future packaging strategies, collaborating closely with users to define the right approach.

The new SOMIC 202 targets the lower performance segment with a compact, robust design for standardized tasks. Configurable for RSC cases or flat carton blanks, it handles trays and wraparound cartons across common format ranges at up to 20 packs per minute—an accessible first step into automated secondary packaging.

For greater flexibility, the SOMIC 323 expands format variability and product handling, offering efficient single- or multi-component cardboard packaging and manual, well-defined changeovers. Processing flat blanks with vacuum feed, it achieves up to 20 cartons per minute while balancing cost-effectiveness with versatility for multiple retail requirements.

At the top end, the SOMIC 434 delivers peak throughput with up to 60 cycles per minute and accommodates 30+ formats. Fully automated parameter changeovers and vacuum carton feeding support frequent format changes without compromising efficiency.

Optional CoboLoad automates blank loading from pallet to magazine, docking beside the machine without fencing.

SOMIC also highlighted service and digital support. The SOMIC Eagle multi-camera system, integrated with SOMIC Connect, accelerates troubleshooting by recording and securely sharing recent machine sequences. Expanded service offerings—including format upgrades, spare parts, and training—reinforce long-term customer value. With more than 50 years in the market, SOMIC continues to engineer durable, resource-efficient technology made in Germany – tailored to customer needs.
