About the webinar

The metal packaging industry is entering a period of increasing complexity. Sustainability targets, lightweighting and evolving regulations are reshaping manufacturing, while raising expectations around quality, consistency and operational efficiency.

Industrial Physics’ latest research provides insight into the priorities, pressures and opportunities facing the sector as manufacturers prepare for the years ahead.

The webinar will take a forward-looking view of the metal packaging industry, using Industrial Physics’ research as a starting point to explore how manufacturers are responding to changing demands and where opportunities exist to support continued innovation, efficiency and performance.

Bringing together perspectives from Industrial Physics, the Metal Packaging Manufacturers Association (MPMA) and Suntory Beverage & Food, the webinar will explore:

  • · The changing demands facing metal packaging manufacturers
  • · How businesses are balancing sustainability, recyclability, lightweighting, quality and performance
  • · The role of testing, measurement and automation in helping manufacturers respond to these demands
  • · The practical considerations around adopting new technologies and processes
  • · What manufacturers need to prepare for the years ahead, and how the industry can work together to support this transition

The webinar will look ahead to consider how manufacturers can build on the strengths of metal packaging, embrace new and emerging opportunities, and shape a more efficient, sustainable and high-performing future for the sector.
