Systech has introduced its ST16 Semi-Automated Multi-Aggregation Station for pharmaceutical manufacturers, CMOs, CDMOs, re-packagers and distributors, aiming to optimize productivity and improve efficiency.
The station is said to automatically detect when a case is ready and initiate the packing process, while inspecting the case label to ensure accuracy. The system provides flexibility with a case label printer and optional pallet label printer, as well as the option for pallet label inspection.
Apparently, the ST16 serves dual purposes for aggregation and rework tasks at one station. To simplify machine operation, the system incorporates remote focus technology, seeking to reduce the need for mechanical adjustments and minimizing maintenance requirements.
Systech adds that the station has an ergonomic set-up with pack table tilt option and Pack-By-Layer software which enables rapid aggregation and minimal operator intervention. There are scalable aggregation scenarios to support carton bundle or bottle case aggregation, and the table is height adjustable.
The new station is reportedly designed to seamlessly integrates into any existing workflow and enhance operator efficiency through an intuitive interface and user-friendly operation.
Systech PCE is due to demonstrate the ST16 Aggregation Station at the upcoming PharmaPack 2025 event at stand D12, which will be held from January 22-23 at the Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles – Hall 7.2 in Paris, France.
Last summer the company launched a turnkey manual aggregation and rework system, designed to enhance supply chain traceability and comply with regulation for pharmaceutical packaging. The system sought to support item-by-item manual aggregation of products for track and trace labelling compliance.
The same month, swissQprint presented an automation option at drupa 2024, designed to maintain high productivity in flatbed printing by relieving operators of unloading tasks. According to the company, the new unloading option was presented in response to customer demand for automating printing processes while preserving flexibility.
