The new P3 applicator from Logopak was created for print and apply labelling of trays and containers.
This robust and compact entry-level machine offers a number of tried-and-tested functions and is simple to operate. The machine was presented at the drinktec trade fair (Munich, 11–15.9.2017, Hall B4.125).
Combined with the labelling system series 850+, the newly developed P3 applicator is the ideal solution for labelling pallets according to GS1 standards. With this system, double-sided labelling at a speed of up to 180 pallets per hour with one stop is possible, or three-sided labelling at a speed of up to 120 pallets per hour with two stops. The machine is easy to operate and can deal with over 100 standard applications with variable data. The applicator can be changed in less than an hour, and the easily accessible design allows for fast cleaning. Thanks to its high level of availability, the system is perfect for use in three-shift production.
The labelling system 850+ with the P3 applicator can also be used in stand-alone operation without a PC or connection to a higher-level software system. The basic machine unit is available in a right and left version for optimal integration into the production line. The units are also available with RFID technology and scanner barcode validation features. Logopak’s barcode verification function can meet special requirements: the vericoder automatically tests the quality of the barcode on each label according to ISO/IEC 15426-1 standards during the printing process.
