In 2019, software company SAP turned its attention to solutions tackling the plastic pollutions in the oceans, which lead to the development of SAP Responsible Design, a tool designed specifically to tackle packaging challenges. Darren West, SAP’s Global Head of Circular Economy Solutions, discusses the advantages and potential of data driven solutions and how they can help with the various challenges the industry faces, from changing regulation to EPR fees and sustainable packaging design with Elisabeth Skoda.
