Bormioli Luigi has developed Reverre, a refillable version of its standard glass jar intended for long-term use, recyclability at end-of-life, and shelf appeal as a premium product.

Reverre contains an inner glass cup, designed for easy replacement by the consumer. A plastic ring aims to keep the pack airtight without impacting its recyclability.

Customers can choose between a pre-developed catalogue design, which can be personalized with decorations and embellishments; and a made-to-measure jar, customizable in shape and cup and cap sizes.

For bespoke designs, Bormioli Luigi says it will work to overcome any technical challenges related to the customer’s vision. Inside lacquer, hot stamping, engraving, and sputtering are among the design elements that customers can personalize.

Reverre will be on display at the Edition Spéciale by Luxe Pack trade show on 4th – 5th June 2024, located at Stand C08.

Bormioli Luigi previously rolled out the House of Armani’s Armani Si Intense fragrance line in a refillable bottle, aiming to replicate the aesthetics of precious jewellery with a relief décor.

Similarly, Innovative Beauty Group’s FASTEN Packaging company used PP and PET to construct a refillable and recyclable jar for creams in the personal care sector. It sought to combine luxury branding with sustainability benefits, as well as enable customers to customize the pack for branding purposes.
