Mosca is expanding its entry-level portfolio with the launch of a new entry-level strapping machine, SoniXs XT.

The new machine is equipped with the ultrasonic sealing unit that is also used in Mosca’s fully automated machines. This system can process both PP and PET straps with what the company describes as “maximum availability.”

Mosca claims that, despite its high-quality technological features, the machine remains attractively priced.

The SoniXs XT offers a range of options. They include table surfaces with integrated rollers or balls, an increased strap width variation with the option of 5, 8, 9, or 12 mm PP strap, and an adjusted frame size of 800 x 800 mm.

“We have significantly expanded our portfolio due to increasing customer demand,” says Christian Zwieb, Sales Engineering Manager at Mosca. “The machine’s enhancements increase flexibility and make customization and delivery according to customer requirements possible.”

Functions such as strapping release via light sensor, automatic strap tension adjustment, and the foot switch on both sides have been taken over from the previous model SoniXs MP-6.

“The SoniXs XT not only offers a modern sealing unit, but also a modular inner frame system for easy servicing. Moreover, it features Mosca’s own MSCB-1 control system, extended options for table surfaces and strap widths, as well as our proven mode of operation and reliability,” Zwieb adds.
