Glide Line 21.08.25

Conveyor manufacturer Glide-Line has launched its Roller Chain Conveyors for transporting large, heavy products in demanding industrial environments, said to accumulate loads up to 700 kg while maintaining the same speed, flexibility, and modularity customers expect.

The company says the new system is ideal for uses such as moving home appliances, furniture assemblies, automotive components and garage door parts, as well as being suitable for manufacturers who need high-strength conveyors that still offer flexible integration and fast configuration.

Key features of the new conveyors include durable roller chain construction; integration with robotic cells, fixtures, and existing production lines; and full compatibility with Glide-Line’s automation components - lift & locate, VTUs and rotation units. With the addition of roller chain technology, Glide-Line aims to offer more flexibility to integrators and OEMs needing to move larger items without compromising precision, modularity, or turnaround time.

Last year Montech Conveyors Corp. announced its line of SOLTB belt conveyors, aiming to optimize processes for packaging materials and energy converters such as fuel, battery and solar cells. The range includes a flexible vacuum belt conveyor as well as transport conveyors with flat and toothed belts, all said to have ‘great flexibility and reliability’.

More recently, Canapa by Paxiom unveiled JuanaPack, an end-of-line solution designed to quickly, precisely and flexibly load tubes and pack trays of cannabis pre-rolls in a single, unified platform. The solution encompasses the conveying and loading of pre-rolls for automated tube filling, capping, and robotic tray loading in a bid to boost efficiency and ‘significantly’ reduce labour requirements.
