Montech Conveyors Corp. has announced its new line of SOLTB belt conveyors, aiming to optimize processes for packaging materials and energy converters such as fuel, battery and solar cells.
The company has recently expanded into areas including the production of fuel cells, energy and packaging technologies with its belt conveyors, aiming to offer various solutions to support and optimize processes. The SOLTB belt conveyors have been specifically designed to transport flat, light, and sensitive products.
Montech says the new range includes a flexible vacuum belt conveyor as well as transport conveyors with flat and toothed belts, all with great flexibility and reliability. The belts are modular with prerequisites for individual solutions and can be adjusted in various applications and under different operating conditions, aiming to allow flexible integration into different production processes. The SOLTB belt conveyors are suited for production lines for sensitive fuel cells, battery cells, solar cells, paper, cardboard, and plastic films.
In similar news, weighing and packing solutions company Ishida introduced its new IX-EN-2493-Compact machine for flow wrapped packs in March, said to fit into existing lines with speeds of up to 120 metres per minute. The X-ray beam is projected through the pack as it passes over the gap in the conveyor, where it is captured within two large metal plates to ensure any X-ray emissions are contained within the machine.
Hugo Beck collaborated with an instant noodle producer this month to implement its servo X packaging line, aiming to improve the company’s packaging capacity and meet its demands for rapid output. The machine has a reported potential throughput of up to 10,000 cycles per hour, achieved through the servo-driven motor and the continuous motion transverse sealing bar which moves with the product, ensuring there is no stop/start action that would slow the process down.
