Clean Cult has released new and returning scents across its laundry detergent, dish soap, and hand soap portfolios, packaged in paper-based cartons and available on Amazon.
The expanded portfolio combines citrus, floral and herb-based scents with ‘high-performing’ formulas and reduced plastic packaging. The laundry detergent lineup now features Neroli Vetiver, Orange Blossom, and Rose Petal. Clean Cult says the formulas have been third-party tested to perform on par with leading national brands and dermatologist tested for sensitive skin.
The company’s dish soap assortment now includes Mandarin Peel, Mountain Eucalyptus, and Free & Clear, and the hand soap range features Juniper Sandalwood and the new Floral Bloom.
Clean Cult states that all formulas are made without dyes, phosphates, SLS, 1,4-dioxane, phthalates, or parabens. It adds that as a Certified Plastic Neutral brand through its partnership with rePurpose Global, it funds verified plastic recovery efforts while reducing single-use plastic by up to 90% through its patented paper-based cartons and refillable aluminium packaging system.
The Amazon expansion builds on the company’s retail growth with over 70,000 points of distribution including Costco, Target, Kroger, Whole Foods, Albertsons, and Wegmans.
Last year, Clean Cult’s refillable aluminium bottles and recyclable, paper-based carton refills for home cleaning products became available at Whole Foods Market, with the partners aiming to reduce single-use plastic in the homecare category. Clean Cult intends to offer an ‘affordable, convenient replacement’ for cleaning products packaged in plastic and aspires to become a category leader in low-waste home care.
In related news, cleaning brand Smol has added a range of refillable bottles made from 100% recycled aluminium to its portfolio, aiming to reduce single-use plastic and unnecessary waste for customers. The new design is available for selected ranges, including the company’s Foaming Handwash, Multi Purpose Spray, Stain Gel and Washing Up Liquid.
