Valco Melton has launched the Kube, a re-design of its “iconic” melter with improved insulation for an optimised heating process and economic savings.
According to Valco Melton, the new Kube melter provides an upgrade on production energy efficiency by optimising the heating process. The Kube’s improved insulation reportedly minimises energy lost to the environment, which the company explains offers economic savings and more sustainable operations.
Valco Melton says that the new Kube melter is fully compatible with previous market standards and features up to 8 outputs with a simple electrical and hydraulic connection of peripherals for enhanced flexibility. The company adds that the Kube’s design includes different sizes and melting capacities, allowing customers to choose the best configuration for each manufacturing process.
In addition, the Kube unit features a fully integrated, automatic adhesive feeding system that prevents charring and optimises the time the adhesive stays in the tank, according to the company. The FlexFlow Control upgrade option reportedly allows the total adhesive consumption to be recorded to avoid deviation from set values and optimise the glue amount per product.
Valco Melton notes that the new Kube melter can also work with VMConnect as another upgrade option. An authorised connection through KubeCloud apparently allows Valco Melton’s experts to monitor specific operation parameters to proactively propose recommended maintenance, helping to eliminate unprogrammed downtimes.
Last year, Valco Melton unveiled EcoStitch, an adhesive melter range that the company said at the time was its most intelligent, versatile, and technologically advanced solution yet.
