Meler, YourGluingSolutionsPartner, has introduced Raptor Handy, a new hand-held hot melt applicator from its specialist brand Raptor that aims to optimise and facilitate glueing processes.
Meler says Raptor Handy, winner of the ADI Awards and Reddot prizes for its user-centred design, hits the market to maximise and ensure operator safety. The two available models apparently signify a new commitment to ergonomics, safety, high performance, and design.
With a top and bottom hose inlet, both versions of the applicator guarantee “unprecedented” spiral spraying application thanks to the new mechanical design, which allows for easy part exchange, according to the company. As the result of a comprehensive modification process, the company says that the applicator offers wireless communication thanks to its wireless implementation and the internal switch, achieving automation, security, and comfort with a single function.
In addition, the new hand-held hot melt applicator from Raptor by Meler reportedly guarantees high-performance thanks to the thermal stability of the nozzle, which allows for high precision application. Meler explains that, with Easy-Clean technology, Raptor Handy facilitates nozzle cleaning thanks to fast response in the adhesive flow output.
Meler adds that the considerable reduction in the weight of the applicator improves daily operations, while offering 360o hose rotation and the possibility of nozzle exchange in both versions of the Raptor Handy.
According to the company, Raptor Handy is a new applicator adapted to market requirements that improves final productivity while ensuring user safety thanks to its various preventative features, such as Cool-touch housings and the trigger locking system. The company claims that Raptor Handy is thus the most accurate and safe applicator on the market.
With extensive experience in the sector, Meler last year launched the first applicator that would make up the Raptor by Meler family, Raptor Infinity. The company says this is a versatile, durable, and efficient electric applicator thanks to its Logical Simplicity technology. Offering technology and precision at the user’s fingertips, the specialist brand now offers the addition of Raptor Handy.
