StackTeck Systems Ltd., a global manufacturer of multi-cavity, high-volume production molds for packaging, thin-wall packaging, closures, medical, and mold bases, showcased four of its precision, high-tech molds running in several booths of top tier machinery manufacturers.

In the Ilsemann booth W-1691, NPE attendees could see a 4 cavity 116mm round injection compression IML lid mold with labels from Verstraete. The system also features an Ilsemann Robotic system operating in a 230T Arburg machine.

In Krauss Maffei / Netstal’s booth W-403 a 2×8 TRIM (Thin Recess Injection Molding) thin wall container stack mold molded a 16 oz. round container featuring a bottom only TRIM design in a 750T ELIOS 7500 Netstal injection molding machine with a CBW high speed robot, as a demonstration of a fast cycling large scale thinwall system.

At the Trexel booth W-551, visitors to NPE could view a 1×4 IML TRIM cup running in a 220T Milacron Ferromatik machine with the MuCell process.

A 1×4 flip-top cap servo In-Mold Closing (IMC) mold was running in the Wittmann Battenfeld booth W-3742. This servo IMC cap will be running in an EcoPower 180T machine.

A static display in the StackTeck booth W-1583 featured a 2×24 lid stack mold as well as several technologies for caps and closures, thinwall packaging and medical applications.
