In the latest edition of the Spotlight, Saica Flex, the flexible division of Saica Group, tells us about its paper-based solutions including grouping bands, stand up pouches and wax paper.

Saica Flex is leading the way in developing sustainable solutions. With growing concerns over environmental impacts, the company is fully committed to creating packaging solutions that promote sustainability and contribute to a circular economy.

Through a focus on paper-based structures, mono-materials and post-consumer recycled (PCR) content, all of them designed for recycling, Saica Flex is making significant strides in advancing towards more sustainable practices.

A core innovation at Saica Flex is the development of paper-based structures. The flexible division is actively working on paper-based packaging, providing solutions that are aligned with one of its four big sustainability targets: 15% of packaging by weight produced for our customers made with paper by 2025.

Aligned with this commitment, the Flexible division of Saica Group has already taken significant steps toward this goal, with up to five paper-based structures already developed.
