Palantir Technologies has announced a multi-year partnership with Fedrigoni, aiming to accelerate Fedrigoni’s stock optimization and demand forecasting through Palantir’s AI solutions.
By utilizing Palantir’s AI technology, Fedrigoni seeks to improve its responsiveness to market dynamics and enhance its ability to anticipate and meet customer demands. Fedrigoni is advised on this project by Avatar Investments.

In January FINAT revealed the key points from its session on the opportunities and challenges AI poses to the label industry, held at the FINAT European Label Forum 2024 and aiming to explore AI’s role in driving innovation, improving operational efficiencies and maintaining competitive advantage. Session topics included AI’s capacity to accelerate data analysis and interpretation and enable scenario planning and innovation forecasting.
More recently, TOMRA unveiled its AI-based technology for upgrading wrought aluminium scrap and producing high purity fractions, GAINnext, designed for use by aluminium scrap processors and recyclers. The system aims to mimic human vision but with superior speed, facilitating high throughput sorting of up to 2,000 ejections per minute.
