Yamato Scale Dataweigh UK will again be demonstrating the world-beating capabilities of its leading automatic weighing machinery at this year’s PPMA Total show in September.

Yamato is exhibiting at PPMA Total 2017 at the NEC in Birmingham to demonstrate the vital role that multihead weighers, checkweighers and table top weighers play throughout the food packaging process.

Located on stand B14, Hall 5, the Yamato team will be showing visitors to the exhibition how its weighing technology, combined with expert sales and engineering support and spare parts availability, create a true one-stop-shop for food processing and food packaging solutions.

A full range of Yamato weighing equipment will be on show including Omega multihead weighers, the Alpha Advance multihead machine, the Table Top Semi-automatic Dataweigh (TDSW) range and I-Series checkweighers.

Yamato will be demonstrating its total weighing and checking solutions and how they can be implemented in all parts of the packaging process in all the main food processing sectors – salads and fresh produce, IQF and frozen food, snacks, nuts and confectionery.

The Omega multihead weighers will be showcasing Yamato’s capabilities in the salad industry and the IQF/frozen food sectors respectively. Its Alpha Advance machines will demonstrate their suitability for snack, confectionery and nuts packaging.

At the other end of the production process Yamato will be showing off its checkweighing solutions including metal detection and combi-check weighing with its TSDW, SDW, I Series combination machine and I Series machines.

Compliance with the industry package of food safety/fail safe operation features is crucial and Yamato will be demonstrating how it achieves this throughout the production process. It will also be showing how it is possible to respond quickly to the changing compliance landscape with reference to the recently introduced changes to the measuring instrument directive (MID) regulations.

“We’re excited to be showcasing at the PPMA Total event again,” said Andrea Spencer, commercial operations manager for Yamato Scale Dataweigh UK. “Many customers are interested in the processes and machinery that keep their lines running behind the scenes. This event gives us a valuable opportunity to engage with them and discuss how they can best achieve their objectives with Yamato’s checkweighers and range of weighing machines.

“This year we are aiming to showcase how we can deliver a one-stop-shop solution in the main food processing sectors including fresh produce, IQF and frozen foods and snacks and confectionery with dedicated areas of the stand for each sector.”
