Leading print and packaging business, Qualvis, has created a new range of eye-catching packs for Purple Patch Cereals. The new cartons have a hot air balloon theme, displaying bold and vibrant colours, with purple being dominant throughout to reinforce the brand’s identity.
The cereals come in four different flavours: Honey Nut Granola, Honey Nut & Fruit Granola, Fruit & Nut Muesli and Fruity Muesli. Each pack has a clever hot air balloon flap that reveals marketing text upon take-off (or opening of the pack!), further reinforcing on-brand messaging and enhancing consumer engagement. The packs are printed in low migration ink, with a unique anti-mark soft-touch varnish that produces a distinctly luxurious tactile effect.
Qualvis’ creative director, Richard Pacey, said; “The A-frame structure with a reverse oriented flap closure and distinctive shaping around the brand graphics gives an interesting appearance and easy-open functionality for the consumer. It has been a great project to work on and we are very happy with the outcome.”
Emma Mack, Purple Patch Cereals’ co-founder and owner said; “We are thrilled with our finished packs. Qualvis has worked with us from the outset to ensure we could realise our packaging ambitions. We faced some challenges with potentially tricky creases, but Qualvis prepared mock-ups that helped us choose the right format.
“Purple Patch Cereals is a high end brand and we wanted to reflect this whilst also creating packaging that would stand out in a crowded market space – the soft touch lacquer has been a great addition to the overall premium effect. It is this expertise in print and packaging, as well as their proactive support that makes Qualvis our go-to packaging provider.”
