Together with our three expert speakers, we will take a look at future scenarios for our planet, for society and especially for the packaging industry.

From different perspectives, they will inspire us with their thoughts on things to come and things to go.

Karel J. Golta, CEO of Indeed Innovation, will kick things by looking at the big picture: “We need a new narrative as a decisive way to ensure a sustainable and desirable future”.

Building on this, Benjamin Punchard, Global Packaging Insights Director at Mintel UK, gets more specific and provides insights into current trends in consumer habits and retail and draws conclusions for the packaging and printing industry.

Hernán Braberman, influential brand and packaging design expert and founder of Tridimage Argentina, will shed light on the position of analogue printing in an increasingly digital world. A firm believer in artificial intelligence, he is convinced that AI “will take us down unknown paths and offer us opportunities to reach places we have not had access to before”.

Uwe Melichar, expert for sustainable packaging solutions, will moderate the discussion and summarise thoughts and advice. Illustrated by best cases, you will gain an insight into what the future holds for us and how we can shape it.

Learning Objectives:

  1. New narratives as a decisive way to ensure a sustainable and desirable future
  2. Market observations on society, retail and consumer behaviour
  3. Spotlight on concrete packaging solutions
