Valmatic has unveiled Mi.Ri. Flex, a semi-automatic machine designed for vertical filling, sealing, and die-cutting of pre-formed containers and vials made of pharmaceutical plastic film.

Mi.Ri. Flex is aimed at laboratories and companies wishing to produce small batches of sterile and non-sterile vials. The company says that its new solution is particularly suitable for the diagnostic, cosmetic, veterinary, food, and pharmaceutical sectors.

Compared to previous models, Mi.Ri. Flex seeks to offer optimized vial transport, diminished waste and a more flexible structure.

It can handle dosages from 0,50 ml up to 30 ml, with a “small MOQ and fast delivery times” for the purchase of vials from Valmatic headquarters.

Valmatic directly supplies empty plastic film vials in rolls, produced in-house, offering over 30 available molds for free to clients.

The vials can be filled with liquids and oils, and with the optional DOSA unit, creamy products can also be processed, such as hair care products and topical creams.

The Mi.Ri. Flex line can be set up remotely, with installation and customized technical training included. The entire line is made in Italy, designed and assembled at Valmatic’s headquarters in Modena.

The single-dose vials and containers provided by Valmatic are empty, in rolls, and can be made from recycled materials or high-performance pharmaceutical-grade materials, suitable for sterilization with gamma rays or ethylene oxide (ETO).

Mi.Ri. Flex also produces PAPERDOSE Multicolor, a paper-based single-dose container, available in volumes from 5 ml to 40 ml.
