Confectionery: Medium Speed Flexible Solutions
The Italian company offers a series of innovative machines to its customers. One of the latest machines developed for the Confectionery field is the CW 600 F: an alternate motion multi-style wrapping machine for flat-bottom chocolates,designed to meet the specific needs of those markets that require medium speed (the machine can operate at 600 strokes per minute), high flexibility, high wrapping quality and ease of use. Apart from creating different wrapping styles, such as bunch, double twist, Boero, wallet and fancy, CW 600 F allows to independently unwind two wrapping materials, ensuring a perfect wrapping also in case of products with inner and outer wraps of different sizes. Its compact layout allows it to integrate perfectly within diverse production environments, while the cantilevered structure and the use of brushless motors facilitate its operation, maintenance and cleaning. It also allows working with all the main wrapping materials.
The constant attention to business and final clients, led ACMA to develop CW 800 R, the latest addition to the Confectionery field; an intermittent motion machine dedicated to oval and spherical chocolate, which are among the most requested shapes. The unit follows the heritage of the 880 model, appreciated for its reliability and ease of use. CW 800 R is characterizes by a sturdy and compact frame and by an increased wrapping quality, able to manage two wrapping styles (double twist and rolled) with a fast style change over.
ACMA’s Confectionery machine portfolio is completed by high-speed models, such as the CW 850 R - a multi-style solution, HS 1000 and GS 1000 stick machines, tray formers, overwrappers and vertical packaging machines.
Soap – The Latest High-Speed News
The company’s commitment continues in the other sectors, such as the soap field, and soap bars and laundry powders in particular. Currently, ACMA offers a range of machines for medium or large production volumes, with versatile wrapping styles, thanks to the wrapping, flow packing and cartoning technologies, able to manage soap bars from 30 to 450 grams.
The latest innovations developed by the Bolognese company are the SW 700-D and the SC 700-D cartoner, high-speed machines (700 bpm) that can manage soap bars with different sizes and shapes, as well as different wrapping materials (including BOPP), in order to meet the diverse needs of the market, while maintaining a perfect wrapping quality.

Furthermore, ACMA continues to focus on developing solutions for tea bag packaging, with a complete machine portfolio that meets the needs of leading global manufacturers. The heat-sealed tea bags ACMA machines can operate with compostable and biodegradable materials, such as PLA, in order to guarantee a product with a low environmental impact.
All the machines provide the same performance in case of both “naked” and heat-sealed overwrapped bags.
Another of ACMA's strengths is the capability, thanks to the dosing units designed by the company, to guarantee perfect processing of all the different types of teas and herbal teas, including those with a high content of sugar.
