About the webinar
The majority of established blister pack solutions for oral solid doses are considered neither recyclable nor sustainable. Some incumbent solutions contain problematic substances like PFAS or halogens, which raises concern about the end-of-life of the packaging. The pharma industry is also searching for ways how to reduce their emissions. The upcoming plastic packaging waste regulation and changes in the extended producer responsibility are also drivers for this development change.
The webinar is providing guidance on the current state of the technology, the different low- to medium barrier solutions and the performance in terms of barrier properties and processing.
