Bradman Lake will be participating at the Gulfood Manufacturing show being held on 31 Oct – 2 Nov 2017 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Visitors to its stand (Z3 B90) will be able to witness first-hand the very latest case packing technology. The ZX600 Case Packer erects, loads and closes cases within a very compact footprint. The machine utilizes a 6 axis robot via add on instruction. Embracing full flexibility; the robot is also used to manipulate loading of the collation and case transfer reducing complexity and mechanical assemblies. An integrated ‘on demand’ glue system with remote glue pellet store and controlled via add on instruction. The innovative routine for preconditioning the case allows minimal clearance between the product collation and the case providing material costs savings and maximising pallet utilisation. It also negates the need for an additional mechanical loading mask and associated size-change parts, reducing inventory, change-over times and maintenance.

The robot and glue systems directly interface with the Rockwell Automation ControlLogix “PAC” using pre-loaded customized add-on instructions. The same “PAC” unit is used to control the multi-axis case handling system. A lean, yet powerful control architecture with no black boxes!

When the ZX600 is integrated with other Bradman Lake equipment (downstream or upstream), the system is set-up with a single point of access with remote connectivity for online fault diagnostics and Rockwell’s ‘FactoryTalk® ViewPoint’ for system data collection.

The machine is ‘aggregation and serialisation’ enabled for validation with the addition of simple modular expansion. Ideally suited to Pharma applications.

There is also the option for 21 CFR compliance.

Bradman Lake packaging machines incorporate the latest integrated connectivity Industry 4.0 technology to communicate seamlessly over a common network and protocol. This enables the installation of customised systems that deliver enhanced productivity, rock solid security and operational intelligence with live data output to drive smarter management decisions. This flexible, intelligent system allows for an exhaustive range of possible system configurations to meet every conceivable packaging need.

Visitors to our stand can find out more about the advanced features of these machines as well as the Group’s other integrated packaging technologies, which can be supplied turnkey or individually. Some of the ZX600 system benefits:•    Increases customer profitability•    Increases efficiency•    Increases flexibility and rapidly meet the current market demands•    Reduces labour costs•    Reduces material costs•    Minimal size change parts•    Small footprint to maximise utilisation of space available•    Safe work environment
