Apex International is launching multiple Flexo and Corrugated solutions at booth B01:B03 at ScanPack in Göteborg, Sweden.
Apex offers three solutions to the Corrugated industry: Ultracell laser engraved anilox rolls (in all possible cell engraving patterns for different applications), GTTCORR, the future of Corrugated Anilox for unparalleled consistency and the Accora glue set: a Stainless steel glue roll in combination with a ceramic doctor roll for the most precise and durable glue application. By using Accora, issues like warping, washboarding and uneven glue transfer are a thing of the past. Besides, improper bonding and high starch consumption can be avoided and the quality of the board is always the basis no matter how you print on it later on.
Fixed palette concept, which includes patented GTT anilox rolls that have been designed to create the most consistent and controlled laydown in the industry, especially important for optimised Fixed Palette in four colours or seven colours. With Fixed palette, flexo printers can streamline press operations, reduce anilox inventory and variation, and reliably deliver consistent quality from the shortest to the longest of press runs.
If Fixed palette or HD Flexoprinting is not the main objective, Apex offers all conventional anilox cell specifications and engraving patterns for different applications of flexoprinting. Ask advice at our stand, also for cleaning, maintenance and auditing of the anilox.
Bellissima DMS delivers a previously unobtainable level of image reproduction for flexo. Rivaling the quality of print typically associated with offset and gravure, Bellissima DMS is challenging digital as the future for flexible packaging and labels. Using Bellissima, high-quality prints equivalent to 350-450 lpi are produced with unrivaled image reproduction and no colour shifts on misregistration. By utilizing fixed palette inks the screening delivers smooth flat tints and moiré free prints. Vignettes fade smoothly to nothing enabled by printed highlight dots as low as 1.0 per cent and shadow dots up to 99.5 per cent.
Working optimally at 4,000 dpi, the patented screening includes features such as 100% solid surface patterning options and solid object protection. Printing press issues including bounce, barring and slur are all reduced significantly, and in some cases, eliminated. Bellissima DMS also delivers on ink savings, which can be augmented by GCR based software, improves the efficiency of the press room, and utilises existing printing press equipment.
