Mosca Direct has promoted Rob Toolen to the role of Sales Manager for the UK and Northern Europe as part of the company’s ongoing expansion plans.
In his new role, based at Mosca Direct’s head office in Cotgrave, Nottingham, Rob will oversee a team of Business Development Managers based around the country.
Rob’s promotion is part of an internal restructure designed to ensure the business continues to deliver a focused approach to developing new and existing markets, consolidating its position as a leader in the strapping market. It comes 18 months after he joined Mosca Direct as Business Development Manager for the south-west.
“We’re delighted to have Rob in this new role,” says Gaye Tate, the company’s Managing Director. “He has already demonstrated his ability in relationship building, which is important for our business moving forward, and his appointment ties in with our long-term strategy for entering some exciting emerging industries.”
A key target sector in this expansion is Logistics & Automotive and 2017 has already seen the launch of Mosca’s Evolution SoniXs MS-6, specifically aimed at that market. The company plans to introduce further specialist machines and technology for Logistics & Automotive over the next 12 months.
“I’m really pleased to have taken up my new position, which represents a great step for me and a positive new chapter for the business,” comments Rob. “I am ready and eager to help take Mosca to the next level, maximising on our product offering and ensuring we deliver the perfect solution for every application.”
