The transition to a circular economy is essential for preserving our planet’s natural resources and ensuring a sustainable future for the flexible packaging industry.

To achieve this, the entire packaging value chain is shifting towards recyclable solutions through Design for Circularity. By 2030, the industry must adhere to the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, which mandates recyclability based on Design for Recycling Guidelines.

In collaboration with leading packaging value chain companies like Walki-Plasbel, Kuraray EVAL Europe, and Reckitt, Dow  is championing the development  of new products aligned with Design for Circularity principles, where Recyclass is endorsing Design for Recyclability Guidelines.
