AlmaScience (ASc) is a Portuguese incubator and innovation lab focused on developing engineered Cellulose&Cork composite materials as well as mass-printed, cost-effective paper-based electronic devices for the new era of sustainable technology. 

ASc works with brands and tier 1 companies as design partners to develop market-driven solutions in the areas of Smart & Connected packaging, Smart home & IOT, product security, retail, logistics, and more. SmartPack technologies™ by ASc is an Almascience sub-division focused on developing smart and connected packaging solutions. 

SmartPack technologies™ is currently developing several chipless and passive RFID tags with sensing capabilities to monitor product condition, as well as other solutions for product monitoring and product security.
