Nissin Foods and Dash have unveiled the limited-edition Cup Noodles x Dash Dorm Survival Kit bundle, featuring a six-pack of noodles with exclusive labels inspired by life in a university dormitory.
Each chicken-flavoured Cup Noodles cup comes with its own label inspired by day-to-day life in student dormitories – including the on-pack messages ‘Do Not Touch’, ‘Due at 11:59’, ‘All-Nighter Fuel’, ‘I’ll Sleep When I Graduate’, ‘The Meal Plan Back-Up Plan’, and ‘If This is Missing, Ask My Roommate’.
These labels are expected to ‘speak the language’ of university students and poke fun at the typical college experience, from stolen groceries to all-night study sessions.
The Survival Kit also contains two of Dash’s most popular compact appliances – the Dash Rapid Egg Cooker and Dash Insulated Electric Kettle. The whole bundle comes in limited-edition, college-themed packaging.
“For generations, Cup Noodles has been the go-to dorm room staple that college students know and love,” said Priscila Stanton, senior vice president of Marketing at Nissin Foods USA.
“This collaboration with Dash lets us take that a step further, giving students the full setup they need to thrive and conquer the school year.
“And as the original entry point to our expanded Nissin ramen portfolio – including Cup Noodles Protein, Hot & Spicy, and Chow Mein – this partnership celebrates the legacy that started it all.”
“Everything Dash makes is built for compact spaces and real life, and it doesn’t get more real—or small—than a dorm room,” added Evan Dash, CEO of StoreBound.
“Pairing up with Cup Noodles lets us show up for college students together, giving them the perfect dorm room survival kit that will be there for move-in day, finals week, and every moment in between.”
The Cup Noodles x Dash Dorm Survival Kit is available from Dash’s website and TikTok Shop while supplies last.
Other recent campaigns include a collaboration between Crayola and Jones Soda to celebrate children’s back-to-school season with a limited-edition six-pack of drinks. Intended to capture consumer nostalgia, family occasions, gifting and seasonal discovery, the pack contains six soda flavours, each inspired by a crayon colour.
Sun-Maid Growers of California also aims to encourage healthy snacking in the back-to-school season in a new partnership with The Pokémon Company International. Their limited-edition six-pack of raisins intends to attract consumers of all ages by displaying the iconic character Pikachu on the front of the carton.
