Jones Soda and Crayola

Jones Soda has collaborated with Crayola for a limited-edition 6 pack launching during the back-to-school summer season, featuring a refreshed design and part of Jones Soda’s 30th anniversary celebrations.

The limited-edition 6-pack will be available at retail and online through Jones Soda’s direct-to-consumer platform. Retail boxes will include six Crayola x Jones Soda bottles and one collectible Crayola x Jones Soda 6-pack box. Direct-to-consumer orders will include one Crayola x Jones Soda 6-pack box, four colouring pages, and one 8-pack of crayons.

The Crayola x Jones Soda 6-Pack will include six flavours, each inspired by a Crayola colour: Fruit Punch Soda inspired by Razzmatazz; Orange & Cream Soda inspired by Sunset Orange; Pineapple Cream Soda inspired by Dandelion; Green Apple Soda inspired by Granny Smith Apple; Berry Lemonade Soda inspired by Robin’s Egg Blue; and Fufu Berry Soda inspired by Razzle Dazzle Rose.

The new pack aims to support retail visibility and online consumer demand. By aligning with the back-to-school summer season, Jones Soda says it seeks to tap into consumer nostalgia, family occasions, gifting and seasonal discovery.

The limited-edition Crayola x Jones Soda 6-Pack will be available for a limited time while supplies last.

In other beverage packaging news, in May German beer brand Bitburger announced a new series of collectable, limited-edition cans to coincide with Germany’s appearance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The use of white on the cans ties in with Bitburger’s visual identity and Germany’s famous home kits, while the top of the cans features an allusion to the iconic Schwarz-Rot-Gold collar featured on the shirt.

We recently took a closer look at limited-edition packaging in an edition of the Brief, including what makes it so special and why companies continue to produce it. We also considered how consumers engage with it, and the pros and cons of producing one-off products.
