ANYTRON’s ANY-PRESS, a compact, all-in-one label and packaging press for continuous label printing and laminating functions, is making its debut at Labelexpo Europe 2023.
Offering a robust LED engine intended to ensure durability and reliable performance, the press comes with a five-colour dry toner press with dual functionality for both digital labels and flexible packaging. Its suitability for both label printing and laminating – as well as its small footprint – aims to provide versatile operations in limited office spaces.
The built-in laminator and wide 13-inch format are intended to facilitate easy label production, with the addition of white toner thought to benefit the sharpness of text and images printed onto coloured paper, kraft, and transparent labels. It apparently provides fast rendering for large-volume printing and enhances the colour label printing experience, as well as printing variable data such as barcodes and QR codes.
Due to its single-phase electricity operation, it is also thought to consume low amounts of power.
A similar development from Fujifilm saw the release of its Acuity Prime Hybrid printer, designed to be compatible with a range of rigid and flexible material applications.
Canon’s imagePROGRAF TC-20M full-colour, large format desktop printer is intended for customized wrapping paper and similar applications; it claims to use less than 26W during operation and 2.4W during standby.
At wetec 2023, swissQprint displayed its neon print and ISO-certified, low-energy digital print technology, amongst other developments.
